About the Dolls ~ Handmade in Montreal, Pomme de Pin dolls & play sets are inspired by nature, the seasons and children’s literature. The entire play set is made exclusively with natural fibers including wool, cotton, linen and mohair. The doll heads are made in the Waldorf style with embroidered faces, crocheted hair caps and cheeks rosy’d with beeswax. The mushrooms are sewn & stuffed or needle felted, and the leaves are hand quilted. Their sweet and simple features are meant to encourage imaginative play guided by the natural world.
If needed, gently hand wash with room temperature water and a mild wool soap such as Eucalan.
